Mikos is a Souvlaki Bar in Brixton, London!


    Souvlaki is a Greek meat or vegetable skewer; typically grilled on charcoal and served as a wrap in a soft and fluffy Greek pita or as a plate with salads, sauces and - sometimes - a few lucky chips.
    At Mikos, using top-quality ingredients is paramount and so we handpick the best of British produces and import some key ingredients from Greece to create the best Souvlaki for you. We also keep in mind what's in season and source locally; for example our winter and summer vegetables and local craft beers.
    Mikos is started up by Hugo Ushida, who previously found and ran a food truck at University called The Buffalo Food Truck. He then lived in Melbourne, Australia where he met many Greeks and tried many Souvlakia. He fell in love with the combination of fresh summer flavours and the social aspect of Greek dining. Having returned to Europe he embarked on a road trip from London to Greece to study the art of Souvlakia and decided to open up Mikos in London!
    Finally, but not least at Mikos we strive to make you, the customer, feel at home and pay homage to the wonderful hospitality of the Greeks. We look forward to serving you soon!
